I continue to work on my pandemic project of flowers, hair and soil which were documented solely at home throughout that time. The act of taking images every day for a year was an intensely personal and introspective examination of the world around me at a very specific time and allowed a moment of calm reflection unaware how much this would come to mean personally as we unspooled from the pandemic.\u00a0Looking back I constantly wonder how there were so many beautiful flowers available and around us. The flowers, hair and soil all hold folds of meaning which shift and reshape and lead back to body spaces as a locus of the limitations of my understanding during this time of uncertainty and altered reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently screenprinting a series of roses (Ancient Rose)<\/em> some of which can be seen below. The photographs below are the pandemic rose screenprints – a small selection of the vast number taken and that are being sifted through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
